Paracetamol suspension is used for the treatment of mild-to-moderate pain, including headaches, migraines, neuralgia, toothaches, sore throat and period pains.

It is also used to treat fever and to be used as an adjunctive treatment to relieve symptoms of cold and flu.

The unpleasant taste of paracetamol can be masked by using sugar or flavour. Oral suspension of paracetamol is suitable for the children who are having difficulties in swallowing tablets/capsules.

HiCel™MCG 591 is widely used as a suspending agent. It generally prevents sedimentation and aggregation of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). It is one of the most suitable co-processed excipients to prepare suspensions.
