Origin Pharma Packaging has invested and brought in-house a dedicated 3D printing department to allow clients to see the creation of pharmaceutical packaging concepts within a matter of hours.
This new service completes the full pharmaceutical packaging design process, which allows PILOT to take clients from concept to manufacturing. Clients can visit Origin Pharma Packaging at its dedicated headquarters while their designs are being produced in the 3D printer. They can also amend and edit designs before making any large investments for pilot moulds or commercial tooling.
Origin Pharma Packaging’s head of pharmaceutical packaging Jon Lant explains the benefits of the new 3D printing department and what it will bring to the pharmaceutical packaging design process: "We have made a significant investment to ensure we give our clients a full 360° service, which allows the design of their packaging to be done all under one roof. The 3D printing department creates speed and delivers efficiency in the design of their packaging concepts."
