Multisorb Technologies will be showing how its Success through Efficiency programme helps companies quickly identify, select, and dispense the optimal sorbent at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Meeting and Exposition.

The event will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from 25-29 October 2015.

The company will be at booth #229 and will have a seminar entitled ‘Success through efficiency: Driving your success and quality through the optimal use of sorbent technology’ on Monday, 26 October from 12:50pm – 1:05pm in the Corporate Presentation Theatre.

As part of its Success through Efficiency programme, Multisorb will feature its SimulSorb and SimulOx quality by design (QbD) based simulation programmes.

Since 2004, these simulation programmes have allowed Multisorb’s scientists to quickly and efficiently identify the optimal desiccant or sorbent formulation to meet a pharmaceutical product’s desired shelf life.

SimulSorb and SimulOx help to identify optimal sorbent solutions for moisture, oxygen or volatiles management based on parameters specific to a drug product, including degradation profile, packaging materials, sorbent type, and required shelf life.

As a result, companies can better meet their challenges for faster speed to market, development efficiency, first-to-file advantage, and cost savings.

By using Multisorb’s SimulSorb and SimulOx simulation programmes, pharmaceutical companies can help eliminate costly sorbent ranging studies and get product to market six to 12 months faster.

More than 1,000 pharmaceutical presentations have been stabilised for companies in the last ten years.
