Bioassay is a bioanalytical contract laboratory in Heidelberg (Germany) with a strong focus on the development, validation and routine analysis of in-vivo and in-vitro potency assays. Bioassay offers the execution and assessment of potency assays within quality control of active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products, as well as in the phase of drug discovery and development.
We have extensive experience in the development and validation of new assays according to ICH-Guidelines, as well as in the optimisation of existing assay formats and transference into routine applications. Our lab is GLP and GMP certified and recently successfully inspected by the FDA. Standard assays are established for various hormones, therapeutic antibodies and growth factors.
Bioassay offers also a panel of assays for safety and functional assessment of monoclonal antibodies to any kind of recombinant proteins to characterise biotherapeutics in this respect.
