Cellets are neutral starter cores for controlled release formulation. The spheres consist of 100% microcrystalline cellulose and combine physical properties, such as high sphericity, mechanical strength and narrow particle size distribution, for an optimal formulation and production process.
The new cellets 90 and 127 further optimise the flexibility in formulation and fulfil the special needs in particle size, and distribution of the smaller sized spheres.
With cellets 90, we present the first type as below 100µm, which keeps the known parameters of sphericity and low friability of the cellets.
Cellets 127 have a particle size distribution of 100µm-160µm and enable uniform dissolution profiles. Other particle sizes can be defined on customers demand.
