Pierre Fabre Medicament - active ingredients division - will be attending Natural Products in Drug Discovery & Development on the 21-22 June 2006 in London.
Based on 40 years’ experience, Pierre Fabre Medicament is highly active in the development of plant-derived APIs. From the development of the extraction and purification processes to the commercial production of plant-derived APIs, we allow our partner to put in place their own cultures. We investigate in order to determine what species is the most convenient from a chemical and financial point of view. We improve the productivity of the plant by increasing the concentration of the API in the plant and determine what part of the plant should be extracted.
In order to be compliant with the new FDA guidelines and to ensure our partner constant quality of the product, we characterise the raw material in accordance with our specifications.
Since 1961, Pierre Fabre has launched many natural or semisynthetic pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic products on the European, American and Japanese markets.
