IDT Biologika will be presenting its investment plans at this year’s Bio International Convention in Washington DC. By the end of 2012, €85m will flow into new high-tech production facilities and the company’s pharmaceutical infrastructure. More information is available at the German Pavilion in hall A, booth 2207.
IDT Biologika continues to invest in order to further
expand its capacities and expertise. In particular, investment will include a new deep freeze storage room, a filling system for vaccines and several specialised storage facilities. The research labs will also be enlarged. The new, state-of-the-art vaccine filling lines enable us to produce large quantities at the highest level of quality. A filling line for viral vaccines and additional freeze-drying facilities have also been planned.
In March of 2011 Germany’s Chancellor, Dr Angela Merkel,
paid a visit to IDT Biologika and was pleased by the
performance capability of the company and its investment
plans. Managing director Dr Ralf Pfirmann highlighted the
importance of the investment plans: “Our new facilities will allow us to offer biotech products on the international markets on a broader scale and of the utmost quality.”
At the Bio International Convention in Washington DC held
27-30 June 2011 we will be informing existing and potential customers about our investment plans and our service portfolio. We look forward to many interesting talks and hope people will come to visit us in hall A, booth 2207.
