With newly established operations in Norway, Finland, and Denmark, Scandinavian CRO (SCRO) wants to grow further to build a strong Nordic contract research organisation (CRO) company. To realise this vision, the owners have strengthened its board with new chairman, Ulf Boberg.
Ulf has a background in the pharmaceutical and CRO industries and has held leading positions in both smaller life science companies and major companies in the pharmaceutical industry, including Astra Zeneca. His latest position was at the Uppsala company Miris.
CEO of SCRO Ulrika Hammarström Lüllmaa said: "We very much look forward to Ulf coming to our team at SCRO. Ulf will support the CEO in business and business development matters and he has a lot of experience in the industry. He will therefore be a sounding board and an important advisor to me."
Ulrika hopes Ulf can set a course that strengthens the company’s market position and takes additional market share.
Ulf said: "The healthcare industry is exciting and in constant development. SCRO is a company with great development potential and has a highly driven entrepreneur / CEO. Ulrika has built a fantastic business during the last ten years and has created a stable foundation that we will now build on."
