TrialScope has been named a finalist for Best Patient-Focused Technological Development in the CARE Awards, which recognise outstanding work across the global clinical research enterprise.
The 2019 winners will be announced on 2 May in Boston, US, where leaders from the biopharmaceutical, contract research organisation (CRO) and diagnostic industries will gather from around the globe.
The company has been recognised for its TrialScope Engage, a transparency and health literacy management solution that enables clinical trial sponsors to engage with patients, healthcare professionals, researchers and the public via dedicated clinical trial informational websites.
Under the new offering, a sponsor’s dedicated website is automatically updated with information submitted to Clinicaltrials.gov. TrialScope Engage is easily integrated with TrialScope’s other offerings, as well as external systems. TrialScope offers customisable website design templates or sponsor-specific layout and design.
The CARE Awards 2019 feature 11 categories, showcasing significant accomplishments and highlight innovation across the industry, from rare disease drug development and patient centricity in trials and research, to product and technological development, clinical results and collaborative efforts among individuals, departments, or companies.
Entries are judged independently by a panel of experts from all core sectors of the clinical research and development (R&D) industry.
TrialScope CEO Jeff Kozloff said: “We are thrilled to make the shortlist of companies cited for patient-focused technology.
“This honour reflects what we’re all about at TrialScope. Our TrialScope Engage solution enables sponsors to make their clinical trials more accessible. Patients and caregivers can make better-informed decisions regarding healthcare. This, in turn, promotes study awareness and recruitment. We are fully committed to leading the industry in data transparency.”
