Contract pharmaceutical company Kemwell has placed a SEK 2m additional module licence order for FormPipe’s ECM product, Platina. The order will be fulfilled by FormPipe’s parner, Sigma.

Kemwell has decided to extend the functionality of FormPipe Platina, which the company already uses. The order includes an additional pharmaceutical-specific module, Pharma Templates, which is designed to provide support for quality management processes in the industry.

FormPipe Software CEO Christian Sundin said; "With standardised modules for document processes and deviation management within the pharmaceutical sector, we are well placed to accommodate this segment with our ECM products. This constitutes another important stride towards increasing sales within one of our prioritised growth areas."

Pharma Templates offers a standardised document management system that is compliant with document management requirements needed for 21 CFR, Part 11 and other regulatory processes. The module also supports a uniform case management process, including deviation, CAPA and change management.

Kemwell Group, a high-profile contract pharmaceutical manufacturer, has produced drugs for companies including Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and GlaxoSmithKline.
