Prudential Cleanroom Services has announced that it has completed its surveillance audits for ISO 9001:2008 through TÜV SÜD America.
Prudential Cleanroom Services has implemented a quality management system (QMS) in accordance with: ISO 9001:2008. This certification applies to the company’s corporate headquarters and its national network of six cleanroom laundry processing facilities in Los Angeles and Milpitas, CA; Mesa, AZ; Austin, TX; Richmond, VA; Portland, OR; and the company’s distribution centre in Cerritos, CA.
The scope of this QMS includes providing cleanroom apparel and other contamination control products and services for use in controlled environments.
Director of quality assurance (QA) at Prudential Cleanroom Services Dianne Knitter says: "This year’s audits included the Austin, TX processing plant becoming the first plant to bring its industrial process under the ISO management system and the first certification for the distribution centre in Cerritos, CA. Prudential is looking forward moving to the ISO 9001:2015 standard in 2018."
President of Prudential Overall Supply Tom Watts said: "The entire organisation is extremely proud of the cleanroom division’s ISO 9001:2008 certification, and our first certification for our distribution centre. This reinforces Prudential’s on-going commitment to providing best-in-class quality products and services."
The Company’s QMS received its initial certificate of registration to ISO 9000:1994 in March, 2000.
