To provide the best possible customer service, Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals now offers distribution from two separate warehouse locations that serve a global client base. One is located in Plainfield, Indiana, US, and the other facility is located near Copenhagen, Denmark.
We know that one of the most important parameters is the security of supply; the US distribution centre enables Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals to provide you with the desired products within seven days shipping or less virtually anywhere in the United States, utilizing MD Logistics (MDL) as our third-party logistic provider.
This new distribution centre allows us to improve the delivery performance of our products in case of unexpected weather conditions in Europe, e.g. ash clouds. It also prevents any delays from the US import formalities (US Customs, FDA, USDA).
Both of Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals distribution centers maintain a strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and ordinances. We store and handle our Insulin Human AF in conformance with manufacturer requirements, including, without limitation, any applicable climate control requirements.
Technologically advanced systems are applied to regulate the temperature of the storage equipment in both distribution centers. The product storage is protected by around-the-clock security, and a complete facility power backup in the event of a power loss or interruption.
