From 9-11 April 2025, IMS took part in CPHI Japan, held at Tokyo Big Sight, reaffirming our commitment to strengthening long-term partnerships and exploring new opportunities in the Asian pharmaceutical market.
CPHI Japan continues to be one of the most important events in the pharmaceutical industry in Asia, bringing together over 700 exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors from around the world. Once again, the event provided a dynamic and highly qualified platform to connect, exchange insights, and stay ahead of emerging trends in the global pharmaceutical landscape.
Representing the company were Nicholas Corneli, Corporate Development Manager, and Michele Urso Russo, Qualified Person. With a full agenda of pre-arranged meetings, the team engaged with current clients to reinforce existing collaborations and initiated dialogues with promising new contacts. The level of engagement and interest confirmed the growing recognition of our high-quality, tailored services.
Our participation at CPHI Japan 2025 also served as a strategic opportunity to reinforce our positioning in a complex and competitive market like Japan, where regulatory excellence and technical reliability are crucial. The event allowed us to highlight our expertise in micronisation, along with our flexible and partnership-oriented approach to contract manufacturing and pharmaceutical services.
A particularly meaningful moment was the institutional meeting with Gianluigi Benedetti, the Italian Ambassador to Japan, held at the Italian Pavilion. The conversation focused on the role of Italian pharmaceutical companies in the Japanese market and the valuable contribution of highly specialised players like ours to innovation and global competitiveness. This meeting emphasised the importance of public-private cooperation in supporting Italian excellence abroad.
The outcome of our participation has been overwhelmingly positive. The quality of interactions and the level of interest in our capabilities confirmed the relevance of our international growth strategy, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. Our technical expertise, operational reliability, and customer-focused mindset were again recognised as key differentiators.
We return from Japan with new business leads, strategic prospects, and renewed motivation to continue expanding globally—always guided by quality, flexibility, and long-term value creation.
