The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 8.35% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1% share in June 2022, recording a decrease of 0.28% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 18.92% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Australia’s pharma industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Ministry of Health, New South Wales, Australia posted 20 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 39.39% over the previous month, followed by Novotech Australia with 4 jobs and a flat growth. Queensland Children’s Hospital with 3 IT jobs and CSL with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Charles River Laboratories International recorded a decline of 50% with 1 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.73%, down by 48.94% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 12.12% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.12% share, up 33.33% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 3.03%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
