Fexuprazan (Fexuprazan Hydrochloride, Fexuclu, Abcito) is a P-CAB (Potassium-Competitive) Acid Blocker). It is formulated as film-coated tablets and as tablets for oral route of administration. It is indicated for the treatment of erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Fexuprazan (DWP-14012) is under development for the treatment of acute or chronic gastritis, gastric ulcers, helicobacter pylori infections, erosive esophagitis and erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is a small molecule which is administered by oral route in the form of tablet and through intravenous injection. It acts by targeting the acid pump, H+/K(+) ATPase.
