The industry’s overall hiring increased by 8.64% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.

Top five pharma companies in Canada IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 101.64% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada pharma industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
Bausch Health Companies posted 74 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 208.33% over the previous month, followed by Alberta Health Services with 17 jobs and a 10.53% drop. ICON with 15 IT jobs and Amgen with 9 jobs, recorded a 50% growth and a 200% increase, respectively, while F. Hoffmann-La Roche recorded a 60% an increase with 8 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.91%, up by 71.62% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.56% share, a decline of 10% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.52% share, down 25% over June 2021.
