Penpulimab overview

Penpulimab is a monoclonal antibody with antineoplastic activity. It is formulated as solution for intravenous route of administration. Penpulimab is indicated for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory classic Hodgkin’s lymphoma (CHL) after at least second-line systemic chemotherapy treatment.
Penpulimab is under development for the treatment of recurrent, and metastatic cervical cancer, relapsed and refractory Hodgkin lymphoma, solid tumors including nasopharyngeal carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, recurrent or metastatic colorectal cancer (second and third line), recurrent squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, recurrent gastric or gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) adenocarcinoma, metastatic urothelial carcinoma, gastrointestinal pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor, chest cancer, pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PPGL)  head and neck non-squamous cell cancer, metastatic head and neck non-squamous cell cancer, oropharyngeal cancer, hypopharyngeal cancer, laryngeal cancer, oral cavity (mouth) cancer, undifferentiated thyroid cancer, small cell lung cancer, recurrent or metastasis pleural mesothelioma and thymic cancer, squamous and non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer, gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) adenocarcinoma, esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma, metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreas, triple-negative breast cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) colorectal cancer, pancreatic carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma and glioblastoma multiforme. It is administered through intravenous route. The therapeutic candidate acts by targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). It is developed based on antibody analytical platform. It was under development for gastric cancer.
