KER-012 is under clinical development by Keros Therapeutics and currently in Phase I for Osteogenesis Imperfecta. According to GlobalData, Phase I drugs for Osteogenesis Imperfecta have a 100% phase transition success rate (PTSR) indication benchmark for progressing into Phase II. GlobalData’s report assesses how KER-012’s drug-specific PTSR and Likelihood of Approval (LoA) scores compare to the indication benchmarks. Buy the report here.

GlobalData tracks drug-specific phase transition and likelihood of approval scores, in addition to indication benchmarks based off 18 years of historical drug development data. Attributes of the drug, company and its clinical trials play a fundamental role in drug-specific PTSR and likelihood of approval.

KER-012 overview

KER-012 is under development for the treatment of osteoporosis, osteogenesis imperfecta, pulmonary arterial hypertension. The therapeutic candidate comprises of modified ligand-binding domain of the activin receptor type IIB (ActRIIB) is fused to Fc domain of the human antibody. It acts by targeting activin A and B. It is administered through subcutaneous route.

It was under development for the treatment of chronic heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and with reduced ejection fraction.
