US-based company Johnson & Johnson’s IT hiring rose 1.2% in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.89% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 2.56% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a flat growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Johnson & Johnson IT hiring in May 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Johnson & Johnson, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 57.63% in May 2022, and an 88.89% rise over April 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.95% in May 2022, and registered growth of 42.86%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 11.86% in May 2022, a 12.5% drop from April 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Johnson & Johnson

North America emerged as the leading region in the global pharma IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 47.46% share, which marked a 16.67% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 27.12%, registering a 14.29% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 15.25% share and a 125% rise over April 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 10.17% and a month-on-month increase of 500%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s pharma industry IT hiring activity with a 45.76% share in May 2022, a 35% growth over April 2022. Belgium featured next with an 11.86% share, up 16.67% over the previous month. Brazil recorded a 10.17% share, an increase of 500% compared with April 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Johnson & Johnson IT hiring activity in May 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.54%, up by 10.71% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 30.51% share, a growth of 100% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 16.95% share, up 42.86% over April 2022.
